Angelo State's Farrer Named Academic All-District

Trey Farrer of St. George, Utah, a graduate student forward on the Angelo State University Rams basketball team, has been named to the 2023-24 Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore (academically and athletically) and have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA. They must also have competed in 90% of the team's games for the season or started in 66% percent of the team's total games. Farrer is set to graduate in May with his Master of Science degree in business data science and analytics. On the court, he averaged 11.3 points per game on 58% shooting and led the Rams with 6.1 rebounds per game. ASU's Trotter Earns LSC Softball Player of the Week Award

Tatiana Trotter of Lubbock, the right fielder for the Angelo State University Rambelles softball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Hitter of the Week for Week 8 of the season ending March 24. As the Belles swept a 3-game home series over Western New Mexico, Trotter went 5-for-8 at the plate over the three games for a .625 batting average with two triples, a home run, five runs scored and three RBI. She has started all 37 games for the Belles this season and leads the team in batting average (.379), triples (8), runs scored (28), RBI (32) and stolen bases (12). A sophomore intelligence and analysis major, Trotter's eight triples sets a new ASU single-season record and leads all of NCAA Division II. This is her second LSC Hitter of the Week award this season. Trotter and the Belles will hit the road later this week for a 3-game series at St. Edward's in Austin. ASU's Embery-Simpson Earns Basketball All-District Honors

Keyshawn Embery-Simpson of Midwest City, Okla., a guard on the Angelo State University Rams basketball team, has earned all-district honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for his performance during the 2023-24 season. A graduate criminal justice student, Embery-Simpson was named to the NABC All-South Central District second team. It is the first all-district honor of his career, and he was previously named the Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year and to the All-LSC first team. In his first season at ASU, Embery-Simpson led the Rams in scoring and was fourth in the LSC at 18.7 points per game. He also ranked second in the LSC in 3-point shooting percentage (.420) and 3-pointers per game (3.1). ASU's Guerrero Named Regional Baseball Hitter of the Week

Jacob Guerrero of Colleyville, the left fielder for the Angelo State University Rams baseball team, has been named the NCAA Division II South Central Region Hitter of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) for Week 7 of the season ending March 17. As the Rams won three of four games on the road at St. Mary's in San Antonio last week, Guerrero spearheaded the offense by going 10-for-14 at the plate with two home runs, 11 RBI and seven runs scored. He also added a double and four walks, was hit by a pitch twice and stole two bases. A junior accounting major, Guerrero is the fourth Ram to earn an NCBWA regional athlete of the week honor this season. He currently leads the Lone Star Conference in on-base percentage (.550) and OPS (1.293) and is second in batting average (.436). ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn LSC Weekly Awards

Averie Griffith of Portland, Texas, and Solomon Odonkor of Accra, Ghana, members of the Angelo State University track and field teams, have earned Lone Star Conference Athlete of the Week honors for Week 1 of the outdoor season ending on March 17. Griffith, a senior criminal justice major, was named LSC Women's Track Athlete of the Week. Odonkor, a freshman kinesiology major, was named LSC Men's Track Athlete of the Week. At the Wes Kittley Invitational in Abilene, Griffith posted three top-5 finishes, including an NCAA Division II provisional time in the 100-meter hurdles. She finished third in the event and now owns the top time in the LSC and fifth in the nation. She was also part of the 4x400 relay team that won the gold, and she finished fifth in the 400-meter hurdles. Odonkor posted two top-5 finishes at the same meet. He finished second in the 200 meters with an NCAA Division II provisional time of 21.03, which ranks fourth in the nation. He also finished fifth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.53, which is the second fastest in the LSC this season. ASU's Floyd Earns LSC Softball Player of the Week Award

Cheyenne Floyd of Liberty Hill, a junior on the Angelo State University Rambelles softball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week for Week 7 of the season ending on March 17. As the Belles went 2-1 against both Texas A&M-Kingsville at home and St. Mary's on the road, Floyd figured prominently in three of the four wins, tossing two complete-game shutouts and picking up a save. Against the Javelinas, Floyd pitched a five-hitter as the Belles won, 2-0, in the series opener. She recorded a save in a 4-3 win over St. Mary's in that series opener, and then came back the next day to throw another five-hit shutout for a 2-0 victory. Over her 16.2 innings of work, she posted a o.84 ERA, and she now sits at 14-4 with a 1.45 ERA for the season. Her 14 wins are also the most in all of NCAA Division II. An interdisciplinary studies major, Floyd is also second in the LSC in strikeouts (99), third in ERA and fifth in opponent batting average (.204). This is her second LSC Pitcher of the Week award this season. Floyd and the Belles are back in action this weekend with a 3-game home series against Western New Mexico. ASU's Zamzow Earns LSC Track & Field Athlete of the Year Honor

Abby Zamzow of Bowie, a multi-event athlete on the Angelo State University Rambelles track and field team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Year. A graduate student in the coaching, sport, recreation and fitness administration program, Zamzow earned All-America status after finishing seventh in the long jump at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships with a personal-best mark of 6.00 meters (19'-8.25"). She also finished 12th in the heptathlon (3,636 points) to help lead the Belles to an eighth-place team finish. Zamzow was previously named the LSC Indoor Outstanding Female Field Athlete after earning a meet-high 28 points at the LSC Indoor Championships. She won the long jump (5.89m, 19-4.0), took second in the triple jump (12.46m, 40-10.50) and placed third in the pentathlon (3,950). She was also named to the All-LSC first team. ASU's Gutierrez Named Regional Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Alezeah Gutierrez of El Paso, a starting pitcher on the Angelo State University Rams baseball team, has been named the NCAA Division II South Central Region Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) for the week ending March 10. In the Rams' 3-0 victory over Oklahoma Christian on March 9, Gutierrez tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing only one hit and three walks while chalking up 12 strikeouts in seven innings. He is now 4-2 this season with a 3.41 ERA, and he ranks among the leaders in the Lone Star Conference in opposing batting average (1st), wins (2nd), strikeouts (3rd), hits allowed (3rd), runs allowed (5th) and ERA (6th). A junior criminal justice major, Gutierrez was also named the LSC Pitcher of the Week. He and his teammates will be back in action this weekend on the road at St. Mary's in San Antonio. He is also second in doubles (13), third in hits (44) and RBI (36), and fifth in stolen bases (13). ASU's Gutierrez Earns LSC Baseball Player of the Week Honor

Alezeah Gutierrez of El Paso, a starting pitcher on the Angelo State University Rams baseball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week for Week 6 of the season ending March 10. During the Rams' 4-game home sweep over Oklahoma Christian, Gutierrez tossed a complete-game shutout in Game 2 of the series, leading ASU to a 3-0 victory. Over the seven innings, he allowed only one hit and three walks while striking out 12 Eagles batters. He upped his record to 4-2 and lowered his ERA to 3.41. A junior criminal justice major, Gutierrez is now tied for second in the LSC in wins and is first in opposing batting average (.204), third in strikeouts (38 in 31.2 innings) and hits allowed (23), fifth in runs allowed (13) and sixth in ERA. ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn Indoor All-Region Honors

Sixteen student-athletes on the Angelo State University track and field teams have earned NCAA Division II All-South Central Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2024 indoor season. All-region honors go to the top five individuals in each event, as well as each member of the region's top three relay teams. Eight Rams and eight Rambelles were named all-region for ASU. For the Rambelles, Jacent Nyamahunge of Joima, Uganda (60 meters, 200 meters, 4x400 relay); Maricia Spence of Christiana, Jamaica (60-meter hurdles, long jump, pentathlon); and (Chloe) Abby Zamzow of Bowie (long jump, triple jump, pentathlon) earned three all-region honors, while Fatoumata Kabo of Italy (400 meters, 4x400 relay) and Shadae Findley of Manchester, Jamaica (400 meters, 4x400 relay) earned two. Tristan Guerrero of Coahoma (400 meters, 4x400 relay) earned two all-region honors for the Rams. Both the Rams and Rambelles finished second at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships and will compete at the NCAA D-II Indoor National Championships in Pittsburg, Kan., starting on Friday. Angelo State Rams Earn Basketball All-LSC Honors

Four players on the Angelo State University Rams basketball team have earned five Lone Star Conference postseason honors for their performance during the 2023-24 regular season. Highlighting the awards is graduate student guard Keyshawn Embery-Simpson of Midwest City, Okla., being named the LSC Newcomer of the Year, as well as to the All-LSC first team. He is joined on the All-LSC first team by senior guard Kevon Godwin of Blountstown, Fla. Senior guard Willie Guy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was named to the All-LSC third team, and graduate student forward Trey Farrer of St. George, Utah, earned All-LSC honorable mention. Embery-Simpson led the Rams and was fifth in the LSC in scoring at 18.3 points per game. He was also second in the LSC in 3-point shooting percentage (.407) and 3-pointers per game (3). Godwin was ninth in the LSC in scoring at 16.9 points per game, seventh in assists per game (3.9), eighth in field-goal percentage (.460), and third in both 3-point percentage (.407) and 3-pointers per game (2.9). Guy led the LSC in free-throw percentage (.914), was eighth in steals per game (1.5) and was ninth in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1). He was also fourth on the Rams in scoring (9.6 ppg). Farrer led ASU and was ninth in the LSC with 6.5 rebounds per game. He was also third on the Rams in scoring (11.7 ppg). The Rams finished 19-9 overall and 14-8 in the LSC. ASU Belles Earn Academic All-LSC Basketball Honors

Angelo State University Rambelles basketball players Sawyer Lloyd of Wall and Madeline Stephens of Lubbock have been named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team for their performances on the court and in the classroom during the 2023-24 season. To be eligible, student-athletes must have played in at least 50% of their team's contests; reached sophomore standing; completed at least one academic year at their institution; and have a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade-point average over their collegiate career. Lloyd, a graduate student guard in the coaching, sport, recreation and fitness administration program, makes the LSC All-Academic Team for the second straight year. She was also named to the All-LSC first team after averaging 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Stephens is a junior forward majoring in health science professions. She was also named to the All-LSC second team after averaging 13.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2 assists per game. The Belles finished the season at 20-11 overall and 14-8 in the LSC. ASU Belles Earn Basketball All-LSC Honors

Three players on the Angelo State University Rambelles basketball team have been named to the All-Lone Star Conference teams for their performance during the 2023-24 regular season. Sawyer Lloyd of Wall, a graduate student guard, and Tayjanna McGhee-Pleasant of Amarillo, a senior forward, were named to the All-LSC first team. Lloyd averaged 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5 assists per game and led the LSC with a 2.2 assist-to-turnover ratio. McGhee-Pleasant led the Belles in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.9 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Both Lloyd and McGhee-Pleasant ranked in the top seven in the LSC in scoring, Lloyd was second in assists and McGhee-Pleasant was fourth in rebounding. Madeline Stephens of Lubbock, a junior forward, was named to the All-LSC second team. She averaged 13.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2 assists and one steal per game. She was ninth in the LSC in rebounding. Angelo State's Dathe Named LSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Dax Dathe of Round Rock, a pitcher on the Angelo State University Rams baseball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week for Week 5 of the season ending March 3. As the Rams won three of four games at Arkansas-Fort Smith over the weekend, Dathe picked up the win in Game 3 to tilt the series in ASU's favor. Entering the game with no outs in the second inning, he finished the game while allowing just two singles with eight strikeouts and no walks to lead the Rams to the 5-2 victory. A junior interdisciplinary studies major, Dathe is now 3-0 in five appearances (25 innings pitched) this season, leads the LSC in strikeouts (39) and is third in fewest walks allowed (6). ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn All-Conference Honors

Twenty-one student-athletes on the Angelo State University track and field teams have earned All-Lone Star Conference honors for their performances during the 2024 LSC Indoor Championships. The ASU honors are highlighted by three superlative awards. Elvis Kryukov of Limassol, Cyprus, was named the LSC Indoor Outstanding Male Field Athlete after winning the heptathlon. Maricia Spence of Christiana, Jamaica, was named the Outstanding Female Track Athlete after winning the pentathlon and 60-meter hurdles. (Chloe) Abby Zamzow of Bowie was named the Outstanding Femal Field Athlete after winning both the long jump and the triple jump. Also making the All-LSC first team for the Rams were Josh Body of Abilene, Tristan Guerrero of Coahoma, Max Wassmer of Gueberschwihr, France, Bossman Pinkrah of Accra, Ghana, and Prince Frimpong of Kumasi, Ghana. Making the All-LSC second team for the Rams were (Thomas) David Morgan of Lubbock, Kyle Lumpkins of Junction, Mark Burdin of Kazan, Russia, (William) Cole Paxton of Brackettville and Jacobee Jones of Rowlett. Also earning All-LSC first-team honors for the Rambelles were Kylyie Paden of Portales, N.M., and Shadae Findley of Manchester, Jamaica. Making the All-LSC second team were Kylie Frush of Glen Rose, Anna Riccomagno of Caraglio, Italy; Jacent Nyamahunge of Hoima, Uganda; and Fatoumata Kabo of Italy. Earning All-LSC third-team honors were Allison Vaughn of Christoval and Ariyah Samuels of Blanco. The All-LSC first team consists of event winners, all members of winning relay teams, and athletes scoring at least 14 points at the LSC Championships. Second-team honors go to all members of second-place relay teams and athletes who score 8-13 points. Third-team honors go to all members of third-place relay teams and athletes who scored 6-8 points. ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn LSC All-Academic Honors

Angelo State University track and field student-athletes William "Cole" Paxton of Brackettville and Maricia Spence of Christiana, Jamaica, have been named to the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Teams for the 2024 season. To be eligible for LSC academic honors, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.30 grade point average and have reached sophomore status. The conference's sports information directors select the honorees on the basis of both academic and athletic achievement. Paxton, a senior intelligence and analysis major, was also named to the All-LSC second team after finishing second in the weight throw at the LSC Indoor Championships. Spence, a senior business major, was also named the LSC Indoor Outstanding Female Track Athlete after winning the pentathlon and 60-meter hurdles and finishing second in the long jump at the LSC Indoor Championships. This is the second straight year for both Paxton and Spence to be selected for the LSC All-Academic Teams. See more details on the LSC website.

Angelo State's Corsini Earns LSC Tennis Weekly Award

Letizia Corsini of Porto Sant'Elpidio, Italy, a sophomore on the Angelo State University Rambelles tennis team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for Week 3 of the season ending Feb. 18. As the Belles went 2-0 for the week with a home win over Central Oklahoma and a road win over Harding, Corsini went 2-0 in both No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles. Her 3-set victory clinched the win over UCO after she and her doubles partner, Ayda Guler, had won the doubles point. Against Harding, Corsini posted a straight-set victory in singles and again combined with Guler to clinch the doubles point. She is now 5-0 in both singles and doubles this season. ASU's Embery-Simpson Earns LSC Basketball Weekly Award

Keyshawn Embery-Simpson of Midwest City, Okla., a guard on the Angelo State University Rams basketball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for Week 16 of the season ending on Feb. 18. A graduate student in criminal justice, Embery-Simpson helped lead the Rams to a 2-0 record for the week with victories over Cameron and Midwestern State by topping the scoring chart in both games. He averaged 26 points, four rebounds, 2.5 assists and two steals while hitting nine total 3-pointers over the two games. Currently, Embery-Simpson leads the Rams and is fourth in the LSC in scoring (19.7 ppg) and he leads the LSC in 3-point shooting percentage (42.8%). This is his second LSC Player of the Week award this season. The Rams play on the road this week with games at Dallas Baptist on Thursday and at UT Tyler on Saturday. ASU's Clark Named Regional Baseball Hitter of the Week

Tripp Clark of Waco, a senior accounting major on the Angelo State University Rams baseball team, has been named the South Central Region Hitter of Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) for the week ending Feb. 11. The Rams' starting catcher, Clark helped lead them to a four-game home sweep over Cameron University by going 8-for-13 at the plate with four home runs, a triple, 13 RBI and seven runs scored. He had an extra-base hit and drove in at least two runs in each game, and in the series finale, he hit two home runs and tallied six RBI. Angelo State's Floyd Earns LSC Softball Weekly Award

Cheyenne Floyd of Liberty Hill, a junior on the Angelo State University Rambelles softball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week for Week 3 of the season ending Feb. 18. As the Belles swept their three-game home series against Midwestern State, Floyd went 2-0 in the circle, picking up wins in the first and third games. In Game 1, she pitched six shutout innings with six strikeouts while allowing just six hits and one walk in a 3-0 victory. In Game 3, she allowed just three hits in four shutout innings as the Belles won 10-0. She combined with junior Matie Wolkow for both shutouts. Floyd currently leads the NCAA Division II in wins (8), is fifth in strikeouts (46) and holds a stellar 1.21 ERA. She has already matched her wins total from all of last season. The Belles host UT Permian Basin for a 3-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday before heading out for a road series at UT Tyler this weekend. ASU Belles Relay Team Earns LSC Track & Field Weekly Award

The members of the Angelo State University Rambelles 4x400-meter relay team have been named the Lone Star Conference Women's Track Athletes of the Week for Week 6 of the indoor season following their record-setting performance this past weekend. At the Jarvis Scott Open in Lubbock, the Belles relay team - Shadae Findley, Fatoumata Kabo, Zykia McDaniel and Jacent Nyamahunge - won the 4x400-meter relay and set a new NCAA Division II record with a time of 3:36.14. They also beat out Division I schools on their way to the all-time mark. Angelo State's Clark Earns LSC Baseball Weekly Award

Tripp Clark of Waco, the catcher for the Angelo State University Rams baseball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Hitter of the Week for Week 2 of the 2024 season ending on Feb. 11. As the Rams swept a four-game home series against Cameron University, Clark went 8-for-13 with four home runs, a triple, 13 RBI, seven runs scored and one stolen base. In the series finale on Sunday, he went 3-for-4 with two home runs, six RBI and three runs scored. A senior accounting major, Clark had at least one extra-base hit and drove in at least two runs in each of the four games as the Rams outscored the Aggies by a total of 54-7. Angelo State's Nyamahunge Earns LSC Track & Field Weekly Award

Jacent Nyamahunge of Hoima, Uganda, a sprinter on the Angelo State University Rambelles track and field team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for Week 5 of the indoor season ending Feb. 4. A graduate student in the coaching, sport, recreation and fitness administration program, Nyamahunge posted two NCAA Division II provisional marks at the University of New Mexico Collegiate Classic. In the 200 meters, her provisional-mark time of 24.11 seconds is the fastest in the LSC this season and ranks sixth in the nation. She also set a provisional mark of 7.43 seconds in the 60 meters. Angelo State's Trotter Earns LSC Softball Weekly Award

Tatiana Trotter of Lubbock, a sophomore outfielder on the Angelo State University Rambelles softball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Hitter of the Week for the opening week of the 2024 season. As the Belles went 5-1 at the Division II First Pitch Invitational in Conroe, Trotter led the offense by going 10-for-18 at the plate for a .556 batting average, including two doubles and a triple, as well as a sixth-inning, two-run home run that clinched ASU's win over No. 17 Wingate. She also compiled a .944 slugging percentage, .619 on-base percentage and 10 RBI. Trotter and her teammates will play their first home games of the season this weekend as they host the ASU George and Ola McCorkle Challenge tournament with multiple games on Friday and Saturday. ASU Track & Field Athletes Win LSC Weekly Awards

Three student-athletes on the Angelo State University track and field teams have picked up Lone Star Conference Athlete of the Week honors for their performances during Week 4 of the indoor season. Senior multi-event athlete Maricia Spence of Christiana, Jamaica, was named LSC Women's Track Athlete of the Week after posting three NCAA Division II provisional marks at the Pittsburg State Invite in Kansas. She won the long jump, was part of the Rambelles' first-place 4x400-meter relay team that set a meet record (3:34.31), and ran an 8.52" in the 60-meter hurdles, the top time in the LSC this season. Graduate student Abby Zamzow of Bowie was named the LSC Women's Field Athlete of the Week after finishing third in the triple jump and earning a NCAA D-II provisional mark at the Pittsburg State Invite. Her leap of 12.07 meters (39'-7.25") is the top mark in the LSC this season and ranks 11th in NCAA D-II. Senior Rams field athlete Jacobee Jones of Rowlett was named LSC Male Field Athlete of the Week after earning a NCAA D-II provisional mark in the pole vault at the Pittsburg State Invite. His vault of 4.93 meters (16'-2") is the top mark in the LSC this season and ranks 16th in NCAA D-II. The Rams and Rambelles are back in action this weekend at the University of New Mexico Classic. Angelo State Student-Athletes Make LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll

Nearly 180 Angelo State University student-athletes have been named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for their academic performance during the fall 2023 semester. To be eligible, a student-athlete must post a minimum 3.30 grade point average (GPA) for the specified semester and be on a team roster. ASU Rams Earn Baseball Preseason All-America Honors

Four players on the Angelo State University Rams baseball team have been named to the NCAA Division II Preseason All-America teams by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) heading into the 2024 season. Junior outfielder Jacob Guerrero of Colleyville has been named to the Preseason All-America first team. Also the 2024 Lone Star Conference Preseason Player of the Year, he batted .420 last season, including a conference-high 97 hits, with seven home runs, five triples and 25 doubles. He also notched 79 runs scored, 57 RBI and 22 stolen bases. Senior starting pitcher Braxton Pearson of Georgetown and senior catcher Tripp Clark of Waco were named to the Preseason All-America second team. Pearson is also the LSC Preseason Pitcher of the Year after posting an 8-2 record with a 2.64 ERA and one save last season. Clark batted .374 last season with a team-high nine home runs and 65 RBI. Junior infielder Austin Beck of Allen earned Preseason All-America honorable mention. He batted .338 last season with 80 runs scored, 50 RBI and a conference-high 41 stolen bases. Angelo State's Body Earns LSC Track & Field Weekly Award

Josh Body of Abilene, a senior on the Angelo State University Rams track and field team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Male Field Athlete of the Week for Week 3 of the indoor season. At the Southern Nazarene University Invitational in Oklahoma on Jan. 20, Body won the triple jump with a leap of 15.13 meters (49'-7.75"). That set a provisional qualifying mark for nationals, leads the LSC in the event by about two feet, and ranks eighth overall in all of NCAA Division II. ASU Rams Earn LSC Baseball Preseason Honors

Angelo State University Rams baseball players Jacob Guerrero and Braxton Pearson have been named the Lone Star Conference Preseason Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, respectively, heading into the 2024 season. Guerrero, a junior from Colleyville, earned mutliple All-America accolades last season as the Rams' leftfielder. He led the team with a .420 batting average, led the LSC with 97 hits, and tallied seven home runs, 25 doubles and five triples. He also chipped in 79 runs scored, 57 RBI and 22 stolen bases. Pearson, a senior right-hander from Georgetown, went 8-2 last season with one save, two complete games and a 2.64 ERA. He posted 48 strikeouts in 58 innings while walking only 11 batters, and he held opponents to a .215 batting average. He was named to the All-LSC first team and picked up multiple all-region honors. Both Guerrero and Pearson were instrumental in the Rams winning their first NCAA D-II national championship last season. They will lead the charge this year as the Rams have been picked to win their third straight conference title in the recent LSC Preseason Coaches Poll.
